By 2017, Sadiki’s creative drive pushed him to venture into solo work, marking a new chapter for Buzzrock. His debut album Nobody’s Fool (2017) and the dub-heavy mixtape 6 Million Ways to Dub showcased his range as a composer and producer, earning international recognition. These releases opened doors to successful tours across Europe in 2017 and 2018, cementing Buzzrock’s place in the global reggae community.
Who We Are
At the core of Buzzrock is Sadiki Niamke Phillips—a multi-instrumentalist and recording engineer whose creativity has shaped his sound for more than a decade. He first made waves in 2017 with his debut album Nobody’s Fool and the acclaimed mixtape 6 Million Ways to Dub, followed by successful tours across Europe.
After a life-changing motorcycle accident in 2023, Sadiki returned stronger than ever. In 2024, he released Patience, a project blending reggae with jazz and world influences. Most recently, on May 30, 2025, he unveiled Uncolonised Mind, a stripped-back acoustic album that reveals the raw power and intimacy of his music, offering fans a new way to connect with his artistry.
